Crypto Market Gains Marginally, Trading Volume Up 2.99; Bitcoin, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market gained marginally on Monday. The total market cap was up by 1.62 per cent to $2.44 trillion, while the total trading volume was up by 2.99 per cent to $63.35 billion. Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 1.71 per cent to $66,283.15. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.31 billion. AIOZ Network AIOZ was the top gainer. It was up by 13.23 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.85 million. Nervous Network CKB was the top loser. It was down by 4.56 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $81.38 million.

Sathvik Vishwanath, co-founder & CEO, Unocoin said, “Bitcoin jumped to $65,225, up 1.50 per cent, which shows growing investor confidence amid high-profile investments. Dot-com billionaire Michael Saylor’s net worth is approaching $4 billion, largely fuelled by strategic bitcoin investments and MicroStrategy stock. Grayscale has launched Bitcoin Mini Trust with a low fee of 0.15 per cent, with an aim to improve accessibility and compete in the market. However, the IRS is introducing Form 1099-DA to improve reporting of digital asset transactions, which has raised privacy and security concerns. Bitcoin technical analysis suggests potential further upside if it holds current levels, with resistance and support levels hinting at possible price moves.”

DeFi was up by 4.30 per cent to $5.12 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was up by 1.71 per cent to $66,283.15. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.31 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 54.1 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 1.38 per cent to $3,234.25 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.47 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 15.9 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was up by 0.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $45.78 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was up by 2.10 per cent to $153.72. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.48 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $38.92, up by 2.60 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $385.12 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 1.68 per cent to $0.5149 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $363.46 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin DOGE was down by 0.48 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1626.

Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 0.89 per cent to $0.00002722.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.04604, the same as yesterday.

Yearn.Finance YFI was up by 1.85 per cent to $7,305.11 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $18.10 million in the last 24 hours.
