Bitcoin and Ethereum Target Additional Gains, AVAX and ICP Accelerate

• Bitcoin price might test USD 20,500 again.
• Ethereum is nearing USD 1,200, XRP is still below USD 0.33.
• AVAX and ICP are the best performers today.

Bitcoin is trying to increase its gains above the USD 20,000 zone and is currently (11:57 UTC) trading near USD 20,500. BTC is up almost 2% in a day and a week.

Similarly, most major altcoins are gaining pace. ETH is up over 4% and is eyeing a clear move above the USD 1,200 resistance. XRP is still stuck near USD 0.33 while ADA is approaching a major breakout, with a key hurdle at USD 0.48.

Today, bitcoin price mostly saw positive moves above the USD 20,000 level and it seems like the bulls are now aiming a close above the USD 20,500 level. If there is a close above this level, the price could test USD 21,200. The next major resistance is still near USD 22,000, above which the price could rise to USD 22,800.

If there is another failure, the price could dip towards the USD 20,000 level. The next major support is near the USD 19,500 zone, below which the price could face selling interest.

Ethereum price

Ethereum price is moving higher above the USD 1,150 resistance zone. ETH is now trending above USD 1,180 and is up 4% in a day and almost 8% in a week. If the bulls succeed to clear the USD 1,200 resistance, the price may perhaps test USD 1,250. The next major resistance is near USD 1,280, above which the price could rise to USD 1,320.

If there is a downside correction, the price might test USD 1,135. The next major support is near USD 1,120, below which the price could struggle to stay above USD 1,100.

ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price

Cardano (ADA) is still consolidating above the USD 0.45 level. An immediate resistance is near USD 0.480, above which the bulls may perhaps push the price towards USD 0.52.

BNB is showing positive signs above the USD 235 level. The next major resistance is near USD 242. A clear move above the USD 242 level could start a stronger increase.

Solana (SOL) is gaining pace above the USD 36.50 resistance zone. The next major resistance is near the USD 38.00, above which the price could test the USD 40 level.

DOGE is now trading above the USD 0.0680 resistance zone. It is approaching the USD 0.070 level, above which it could test USD 0.072. The next key resistance is near USD 0.075.

XRP price is trying to increase above the USD 0.320 zone. If there is a move above the USD 0.335 resistance, it could even clear the USD 0.35 hurdle.

Other altcoins market today

Many altcoins are showing positive signs, including DOT, SHIB, AVAX, MATIC, UNI, FTT, NEAR, MANA, SAND, XMR, XTZ, and MKR. Meanwhile, ICP and AVAX are the two best performers among the top 100 cryptoassets by market capitalization today as they jumped around 6% and surpassed USD 5.75 and USD 19, respectively. ICP is also up 8% in a week, while AVAX jumped 10%.

To sum up, bitcoin price is trading in a positive zone above the USD 20,000 level. A close above USD 20,500 could lift the market sentiment and BTC might rise steadily.
